Happy New Year to All

Wanted to wish everyone on the board a happy and healthy New Year- don't drink and drive tonight- and wanted to say how much I enjoy interacting with everyone here. Don't know where I would be without it. Have a safe evening!

Happy New Year to all of my extended Net54baseball.com family and friends. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderfully eclectic group of fine folks!! Ya'll be safe this evening. As for us, we are traveling less than a mile from home to party. No major streets at all. It's not a good night to be on the roads......May you all find the cards you have been hunting for in 2010...

This is how they do New Years in Honolulu. For real.
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mHITPGUGR_U&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mHITPGUGR_U&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Any one can buy firecrackers at the store. Lots of illegal aerials, home made bombs, etc. The racket ensues all over town at sundown, mayhem begins about 10pm, dogs barking, car alarms tripped, a grey, acrid gunpowder cloudbank hangs over the city, then all hell breaks loose at midnight as thousands of 10,000 good luck firecracker skeins go off at once, uku-zillion aerials are launched along with the odd gunshot into the sky, tapering down to the occasional cherry bomb at four in the morning to piss off the humbugs. Tomorrow the streets are caked with red firecracker paper, the air still stinks and the letters to the newspaper about how something should be done begin. Same thing next year.

To All at the Virtual Clubhouse . . .
Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all the wonderful net54ers!

Hi and Happy New Year to everyone and your families.
2009 was a very difficult year for me but I lived through it despite my illness.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your well wishes and cards.
God Bless you all.
I'm taking life a day at a time and enjoying every minute as best I can.
The Net54 forums have kept me in great spirits throughout some tough times.
I'm proud to be a member of this fine group.
So, to everyone, Happy New Year!
All my best,
Bill Hedin

Whilst the world celebrated....

We took ourselves to an early afternoon movie and then a quick bite to eat

Home by 7:00 PM, we worked for a few hours and received an early New
Year's present from a distinguished Board member. He offered us a
SGC 80 type card example (highest known in the set)

What a great start for America's Toughest Want List.

We thank all of those who have helped us in our quest for ultra rare, high grade type cards.

Just stayed home with the girlfriend last night, ordered pizza and had root beer floats (a long standing family tradition). As a new member, I'm thankful for the new friends that I'm making on this board and I look forward to meeting you guys at The National.

I wish health, happiness, and prosperity to all of you. Happy New Year everyone!
