Amazing Autographed baseball

My Father and I are long time collectors, so when a card playing friend of my fathers mentioned he had a nice old autographed baseball, and then mentioned the names on the ball, well we hoped it was the real thing.

I'm no expert but this looks like the real thing to me, and if so what an amazing baseball... WOW! Sorry the pictures are not better, I will try and get more. Here is the list of names found on the official American League (S. Barnard) ball, thought to be from a game played between the A's and Yanks in 1927.

Jimmie Foxx, Eddie Collins, Al Simmons, Ike Powers, Connie Mack, Babe Ruth,
Bill Dickey, Gene Robertson, Jimmie Dykes, Miller Huggins, Lou Gehrig, Mark Koenig, Mickey Cochrane, Lefty Grove, Arthur Fletcher, Walter French, Cy Perkins, Earle Combs, Tony Lazzeri, Fred Heimach, Tris Speaker, Ty Cobb, and Ben Paschal. By my count that's 14 Hall of Famers!

Im not and expert but it sure looks correct to me also. The Gehrig And Ruth are very strong. But the whole ball looks to be very bold. Im sure others will help but all I can say is very nice find.:eek:

It's not from 1927. Judging by the Heimach and Robertson, I'd say 1929.
(Can't be any later than that, and still have Huggins.)

Absolutely great ball. The two best teams ever assembled on one ball.
