Help on 1st Basemans Mitt
 

I also purchased this 1st basemans mitt today. I have a WWII era 1st basemans mitt...and I was surprised how little padding this one has comparatively...in addition to being a lefty. It's a Higgins...any idea what era it's from. Any help is appreciated. thanks guys.

Mid century give or take a few years.

The padding is easily removed by unlacing it. It was fairly common for the player to alter it to fit their needs.
