Show Me Your Cigarette/Tobacco Signs and Advertisements
I just picked up this really neat Red Cross cardboard sign. It's pretty large - almost 2.5 feet by 2.5 feet.

Here's another one - an original tin A&G Richmond Straight Cut sign advertising the packs that contained N43s...

Here's one we sold recently at Heritage. I made the dumb joke in the catalog copy:
Here's a gentleman who will have some problems getting through airport security. |
...because of the lit cigarette, of course...

This Federal League tobacco tin is a wonderful example of early 20th century baseball art, and an important addition to our memorabilia collection.
We are especially please to add this piece to the country's largest collection of Federal League memorabilia. Carlton, I think that lady with the pill box hat and the mustache works at my local library. She smokes those brown cigarettes now though.

wow
Jon, Darn, that looks rare...is that all original? Never seen it before...what are the dimensions?
William, Yeah maybe...if she moves when you push on her probably not though! |
Carlton - I should have clarified; the piece is not mine. Not sure what it sold for last time it was up for sale but heard it changed hands for over $50k. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong...
