S74 Silk Redux
1 Attachment(s)
Picked up this neat misprinted S74 recently to add to the little type set I have going. We don't talk too much about them but if you have any and would like to share it would be great. If not then that's ok too :). As a matter of fact if you don't even like them, that's ok too. I would guess this factory marking at the bottom of the pictured silk includes the top of another factory mark of another silk ..regards

Yes, the factory information is normally on the top.

Re: S74 Silk Redux
Leon,
I knew you'd be bidding on that one. Even though it's not that severely miscut, I've never seen another one like it. Congrats. |
cool pick up leon.
i collected these for years and never saw one like that before either. |
thanks

Ed- I figured you or Gary N would be bidding too....It's no where close to the one I got from you (Ed-.. Miller misprint below) but it still fits nicely in the type set of them... |
I'm sorry to show my ignorance on these (I'm still pretty new to pre-war vintage) but how do these compare price-wise to T205s? I've always thought silks and blankets were pretty neat but I've never priced them before.
Nice cards, Leon! |

Great catch there, guy.
Here's my type S74 silk....finally, found one that does not have "ragged" edges. <img src="http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/tt113/zanted86/a1911x1912griffith3.jpg" alt="[linked image]"> TED Z |
I've always loved this set.
