The PSA serial number checked out as Cobb-Red, PSA6 (back unknown), but agree that something looks funny about the lettering..?

There are 2 obvious differences. No hyphen between the word back and no # sign. Don't know if these are common differences or not.

well, something is REALLY wrong since the reverse exhibits an IMPOSSIBLE front/back combination!

Maybe he is just dumb to the fact that the card is fake and the flip. His feedback shows some large purchases of 50's cards, but after 90 days there are a few sellers I am sure we all have used. Since I have bought from them and know they always are selling PRE-WWII cards. Maybe if they are on the board they can tell us what the guy bought and so forth. Maybe the guy just don't have the advantage of the guys here on the board as a resource to ask before buying a large item such as this and the others mentioned in that listing. Or maybe he knows and choses to look the other way:(

is correct-Red Cobb does not come with a 150 back. Only the Green Cobb has 150 backs.

I emailed the guy and told him about the flip and especially the card F/B combo. He has comunicated to me that he is unaware of the card being fake and that he got it from a reputal dealer and was going to have some honest dealers look at the card. He believes the card is real and since I never told him the flaws on the flip, he keeps asking what they are. I told him to look at other PSA graded cards and it would be obvious in a few minutes of study. I don't trust telling him the flaws since he does not seemed concerened with the card as much as the flip in the holder.

Joe: Is that your Cobb card with a # symbol in the top right corner ? I checked all my T 206's from PSA and none of them have the # symbol on them. Do you think your card is real ? Any other opinions. Mike

Yes, the card is real, I had it graded by PSA at a show in California in the mid 90's. Here are some more examples with the # symbol, not a T206. I don't know why they put on some cards and not others.
