Hey kid, you know if I wanted to I could get forty bucks for my signature at a card show. Consider yourself lucky!

As the children all line up for their H1N1 flu shots, Babe is busily practicing by first injecting a baseball.

"Okay son, I'll be glad to sign a baseball for you. Just remember that when you want to sell it to talk to Coach's Corner first!"

kid: "one day, I am going to put this ball on a marketplace of a vast array of interconnected people. Interconnected, yet each in their own home. An inspired Theodore "Ted" Williams began practicing his batting stroke before school, during recess, after school. He even kept his bat under his pillow when he went to bed.
