W516-2-1 question I have little experience with this issue. Is it common for them to have ghost images on the reverse? I have a few W514's with very minor bleed-through but my feeling is (due to the thickness of the card) that this is a wet-transfer. Very cool nonetheless. http://photos.imageevent.com/ltsgall...16%20matty.jpg |

Not too common, here is a scan of another. Player is actually HOFer George Kelly. Funny thing about these W516-2-1 cards with the wetink transfers on back, the back is the correct image..... and the front has a reversed negative image (backwards IFS Copyright symbol) :) http://centuryoldcards.com/images/1921w516-2-1kelly.jpg |

I always thought it was bleed through because the paper stock was so poor. I find it odd that you woul dhave the same player on a wet sheet transfers...?? James G |

James, Its simple.... The sheets were printed and stacked before the ink dried leaving a mirror image on the back of the sheet on top. |
