My Collection Room
Like I said in my first post, I collect LSU exclusively. Here is my collection room (work in progress).
I collect anything LSU, from old to new: http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...U/newroom6.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...U/newroom3.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...U/update22.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...U/update15.jpg and some of my favorite pieces: http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...bowlwatch2.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...U/peteshoe.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...U/petebox1.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r.../framelsu1.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r.../59program.jpg |

I think he is talking about Tulane U in Southern LA |

As for my collection, I need to update my pictures, and get more pictures of individual stuff. |
Yeah I was born in Birmingham, but I'm stuck here in Tennessee territory. It is going to be a hell of a game next weekend.
And awesome setup by the way. |

Nice stuff
Nice stuff. However, I am blaming LSU for Jamarcus Russell.

This is probably my favorite piece of my collection.
I am a big garage/estate sale shopper. I wentto an estate sale one day and they had three LSU watches from 65 & 68 Sugar Bowls and 63 Cotton Bowl. The names were scratched off the back. I paid $700 for the three watches and was planning on selling two to pay for the lot and keep one for free. After I got them home, I was able to make out a few letters on back of one of the watches and figured out it belonged to Coach Pop Strange (LSU player in the 30's and coached from 56 to 79). Both of his sons played for LSU as well. I contacted his son here in Baton Rouge to make sure they were not stolen, and come to find out, they were stolen back in the 70's. I get my money back, he gets his dad's watches back, and he invites me to his house. He presents me with the 1968 Sugar Bowl watch. I told him I could not take it, but he insisted. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...fixedwatch.jpg |
That is a great story. I applaud your honesty, and the Coach's son's class too. Nice to read a good story, instead of all the crap like Roach's corner, and fake cards, stolen slabs, etc.

Great story. Kudos.
