For anyone interested, there is a wonderful chapter in "Baseball History from Outside the Lines: A Reader" which discusses how Greenberg dealt with his dilemma and how the press decided to report the struggle. It's a fantastic discussion of America, Religion and the press.

Here's my beater:

"Happy Days" exemplified life in the 5720's. Gotta love those tail fins.

Here lately I don't understand between 30% and 40% of the posts made on this board.

70% of those are inside net54 jokes where some may not make sense unless you've been here a while and the other 40% are a few people posting nonsense (see, that in and of itself was one of those jokes). From your perspective, the hard part is figuring out which is which.

Matt, If you had the proper hacker program you could discern the meaning behind the posts pretty quickly. I know it works wonders for me.

That's a very nice R312 of Hank, especially for a "4" ...

Jeff, FYI Moses Yellowhorse wasn't Jewish, he was Hawaiian. We're very proud of Bruddah Moses in the Islands.
