Isn't the lottery a better risk?
 

AS someone having financial issues, its amazes me as to why ANYone would bid anything on this? Just a conversation piece? Maybe some can give me their reasons, as I don't see anything gained by this, its easier to flush money down the john, if you have that much of it, or take a course in intelligence, if you are bidding for another reason.

A good quality baseball will set you back ten bucks, so at $5.50 plus $3.50 postage you're ahead. Take it out in the back yard with the kids and knock it around until the cover falls off.

I never realized they had Sharpies when Babe Ruth was alive. That makes this ball even more special ...

I think that other sig is that famous pitcher Ryan Nolan. It's possible for him & the Babe to have signed at the same time as Ryan was born in 1947!

The lottery is a better bet, as there is 0% chance you will win an authentic Babe Ruth autographed baseball in that auction.
