OT-Indian artifacts

Does anyone on this board collect arrowheads and associated indian artifacts. I have dealt in these type of collectibles for years and have many for sale or trade for cards if anyone is interested. Most of my stuff is from Ohio and Kentucky
I am AACA Member in good standing.

Mark, are you sure that we weren't seperated at birth?

Although I haven't concentrated on Indian arrowheads for over ten years, I still have my collection around somewhere.

Got my first metal detector 1967, and detected all over the world while working for the airlines, while doing so, I would visually pick up some arrowheads.

Also while looking for Rubies, and saphires in the Cowee Valley of NC, I would come upon some Indian artifacts during the early 1970's.

I hate hobbies, don't you. :)

A neighbor of mine in Wisconsin would hunt for arrowheads etc in the farm fields after they had been plowed. His blue collar job was as a craftsman for an engineering college, making the unique lab equipment and metal tools needed by professors. As his basement hobby he made from scratch 1700s replica rifles and guns, handmade working clocks, gem perfect snuff tins and pill boxes, etc. Very interesting and skilled fellow who was happy to give a tour of all his latest finds and creations.

Seems like it!!

Joe,
I have a few Flint Fish hooks I am looking to trade for that rare Blue Eye T206 Honus Wagner that John Cobb from the Cincy area owns. I am hoping he sees this thread and can't resist. Those flint Fish hooks are rare you know!
Of course I would also be up for a trade for the wet transfer Cobb on the back of a Bradley T206.
Of course I am a fool cause my Flint hooks are way rarer than both of those cards!!!! LOL

Hi Mark...

My father-in-law is an expert on arrowheads. He has done many talks and slideshows. He showed me all the stuff found and its amazing. If you want, email me and i can set you up with his phone # because he is 90 years old and does not do computers....

Mark,

I've found a few here in Ohio over the past 30+ years.

Brad,

How come you didn't post a comment like that on Leon's thread about the 1949 Milk cards?

Indian Artifacts

I find it more logical to post in this thread discussing all OT threads, nothing personal!
