HELLO, YOU GUYS HAVE SEEN JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING, SO I'M SEEKING YOUR ADVICE ON THIS 1964 TOPPS CARD. I JUST FOUND IT GOING THROUGH SOME OF MY DAD'S THINGS. YOUR EXPERTISE AND COMMENTS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Yes, the card is real. It was most likely hand cut from a test or error (scrap) sheet of 1964 Topps.

Cool one. Definately demand it be slabbed back-asswards!

Fantastic card! Looks authentic, no problem there.

After looking at Jerry Walker's record for the prior years, I can see why somebody wanted to tweak his stats a little bit.

Lovely Day...

Grading

I sent the card to psa and they would not grade the card. They issued a voucher.

Re: Is this card real??

Your 1964 Topps baseball card is from a 3 card salesman sample strip. Topps issued these salesman samples during the 1950's and 1960's. I have a 1964 Topps salesman sample which has 3 cards pictured on the front (Carl Willey, White Sox rookie stars, and Bob Friend). The back shows the the reverse of card #50 Mickey Mantle along with advertising for the 1964 Topps baseball buble gum picture cards, and full-color metal baseball coins extra bonus!

Put it on ebay and see how it goes. Rob
