Is it just me or is pay pal down?

i used it around 2:30 central time,today, and had to log off and then back on as it was real slow. once i got back on it was OK.

It's been erratic today for me also.

I was having some problems as well. Logged off and back on and it was better. Probably dumb luck though.

Yes, there were problems earlier.

I don't know if related, but earthlink is veeery slow today, and that almost never has problems.

Out of the last dozen cards on Ebay, that I've sought to bid on, 11 of the dealers accepted money orders.

According to an AP story:

"PayPal suffered periodic breakdowns that crimped Internet sales for more than four hours Monday. A bad piece of hardware caused the trouble, according to PayPal's blog."
