I'm a Curator ... Get Me Out of Here! .....

That's the up and coming Reality Show on this board. :D

If you think that the guy who's asking $4,999.99 for a card that he payed $89.00 for a week before is laughable ... some of the BIN's are in his class.

All the signs are there.
A flipper with the desperate desires to be a collector. :)

It's almost like saying that the T210 series 7 Hyames, is a tough card.
Right name, wrong set.

Will the flipper flip, or will he add to his inventory?
The test, and proof of the pudding, is always in the unloading.

I think I need a magic decoder ring for this one.

You're going to need more than one. Good luck.

I will guess

Ok...first we are talking about a guy selling an $89.95 card for 5K. That makes his card part of a museum as it will never sell and is only for show. That is the "curator" part.

Then we get back over to a tough T210 that someone disagreed, or agreed with (heck I forget), which was tough or not to find....

Then we go back to the first comment and make an observation that collecting/selling/flipping is part of the game we play and it's about the final disposition of the card, and the way it's sold, that makes you what you are in the hobby. I think I have broken the code but not sure.

Who knew that along with all those cards, Leon had his own set of magic rings :)

Long sobs of autumn violins soothe my heart with a monotonous languor.

I think David has just commanded the uku-zillion half-naked authentic French penguins of the Resistance to arise! :D

Busted.

Full disclosure, Joe: That's from before my time. Chalk up another to Google.

Rob, I find the time element interesting.
You related to my question about the Capt. Midnight Secret Squadron ring via Google ... and here I am ... struggling to keep pace with the computer, scanner and google world. :)

I thank you for connecting the dots.
Joe
