Thoughts on Fastest Pre War Set Gaining Popularity ?
So what do you think ?
T3's ? T210's ? T212's ? E98's ? others ? Are there any particular sets that have seen a jump in the number collectors seeking cards ? Changing from one set to another ? Expanding the collection ? |
In the tobacco cards I have noticed more and more collectors jumping on T210s lately (red borders). I have also witnessed an increase in people collecting early Zeenuts, 1911-1920.
On the caramel card side I see a lot of people buying E90-1s and collecting them, perhaps this is because it is the "T206 of caramels" and of course I see new faces (or new ids I am not acquainted with) going after E94s and E98s. Finally, I have noticed a real increased interest in postcard issues which are graded. |
Postcards and M116s seem to be picking up steam.

The T3 peak has definitely passed, prices are way off from 1-2 years ago.

postcards
I think Postcards have taken off.....also, I still think T206 has seen increased collecting. It seems newer pre-war guys like them as much or more than our old veterans. The T206 backs really seem to be on fire too....

T206s
Leon,
I must say your words regarding T206s is most refreshing!!!!! all the best ole buddy, barry |
It's kind of cool when you collect a specific set for a year or so and you notice price changes because someone new takes a run completing a set.
I've seen it a few times with T205's where one guy wins a bunch of cards for a month and then burns out. Heck I was probably that guy when I first started too. :p |
