This cannot be a real Cobb Sig- could it ?
 

I bought this a couple of years ago thinking that a previous owner had put the name on the picture just to identify Cobb- but over the last couple of years I have seen a number of certified Cobbs that look close. I think the T looks wrong and I have never seen Raymond spelled out, but there are other aspects that seem to be close to the actual sig. What do you think

You can have an authenticator like Spence or My suggestion GAI do an online cert of the sig. The cost is about $7 I think. I guess if it passes that send it in and have it slabbed for about $30 + shipping and they can handle the auction setup if you want. Very valuable if it is real considering I have NEVER seen a Cobb with the middle name signed anywhere. Not saying it is not possible but it throws alot of ???????????

I dont think that signature looks anywere close to good but there are others on this board who can chime in and give a more definitive answer. That being said, authentication on a Cobb signature will cost you about a $100... not $30.

This piece will not pass authentication (Morales or STAT- perhaps; PSA or Spence- no). Sorry...

I have a T206 Cobb with a "signature" on it that I have had for awhile. Nobody seems willing to authenticate it, but I've had a few people take a second look. Don't know what I'm supposed to do with it but keep it for posterity. I can't stomach the idea of selling it only to have it show up in an auction with an LOA.
