Ty Cobb I won last winter !!

I saw the Gehrigs this seller had yesterday and pretty much new something was wrong, then today I see the Cobb I won last winter from a different seller and then he said it was a fake card in a fake holder, ? Not sure what is going on but I won't be bidding this time.................

I need some more info here.

The current seller told you the card was fake or the seller you won the Cobb card from last winter told you the card was fake?

I do think its an odd practice/red flag when a seller covers up the numbers on the flip.

I also notice some other interesting aspects. The Ebay seller has recently changed their user name and it looks like all the auctions have been ended early. I'm not even going to touch the fact that his only feedback is for a 52Mantle card and the buyer left feedback before receiving the card!

Strange

I'm not trying to imply anything by my statements above, other than things just look strange from my perspective.

I know nothing about the current seller. I won this last january from a seller who hadn't had any sales for 2 years but had a lot of feedback at 100%. He had this Cobb and a Green portrait Cobb SGC 50 for sale. After I won he emailed me and said the card was a fake in a fake holder and I never heard from him again, his acct had no activity after that. Then today I saw this one and laughed as I looked at the Gehrigs last night and saw in his history the sale of the PSA 6 Mantle where feedback was left before buyer received the card saying seller seemed like an honest person and he couldn't wait to get the card? The other seller was from california as well. Thats all I know.

Seems like best i can remember the seller had tape covering the SGC # just like in the linked auction. (multiple cards)
