1911 E100 Bishops EDUCATED ME PLEASE

Everyone,
In the recent REA auction, I saw 4 E100 Buck Weavers, both type 1 and type2. I see the difference between the 2 types, but I noticed that 1 of the type 1s has a blue background, while one of them is a light green. My questions to those who know about E100s are these:

What colors do the type 1s come in?

What colors do the type 2s come in?

If there are multiple colors, does each player come in each color like in E94 or E98 for example?

How many cards in each type? I am assuming they have the same players??

Is the fact that the type 2s show the player in closer view the only difference between the 2 types?

What are the current values on E100s?

Any help answering these questions would be appreciatted. :)
Thanks, Tim

I'll try:

What colors do the type 1s come in?

Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Red and Black

What colors do the type 2s come in?

Orange and green

If there are multiple colors, does each player come in each color like in E94 or E98 for example?

No. Black is very rare though theoretically all cards could be found in black though not all have.

How many cards in each type?

30 Type 1
17 Type 2

I am assuming they have the same players??

I think all that are in Type 2 are in Type 1

Is the fact that the type 2s show the player in closer view the only difference between the 2 types?

Right and the backs of the Type 2 are blank

What are the current values on E100s?

$350-$550 in vg condition (except Weaver) Type 1 pricing

E100

The type 2's have slightly different caption font, and some of the type 2's have their photos/negatives reversed or have different captions.

E100's

Until those type 2 Weavers showed up from this original California collection there was only 1 other one known, according to my sources. I think this discovery came from someone close to the printing of them due to the discovery of the "proofs".

Steve,

Have you seen a black background or are they a fable?

Not even a fable. In reviewing my notes I see I was mistaken about the black e100 though it does appear that a black e99 Hogan may in fact exist.

Not a myth

The E-99 Hogan with black background exists. Others from the same sheet were likely produced, but just haven't been confirmed...yet:)
