It is card #50 and is printed on white cardboard,<br />as where all the other LEAF cards in the 1st press runs.<br /><br />TED Z

Posted By: <b>Ted Zanidakis</b><p>If you look at my uncut sheet, in the right lowermost corner is Arturo Godoy who, I've been told replaced Graziano on the sheet.<br />I am not sure if this is fact or a rumor; but, I was told this by a hobby veteran back in 1984 when I acquired my Boxing sheet.<br /><br />I'm sure there are more than two Graziano cards, I've only seen two. There aren't too many more than that in circulation in the hobby.<br /><br />TED Z

Posted By: <b>Anthony</b><p>I've got a friend that has the Graziano and I've seen it- it definitely looks like it was part of the set. <br />An argument could certainly be made about the '33 Lajoie not being part of that set design, and the Cobb/Cobb not being part of T206, but in my mind at least Graziano is definitely part of the Leaf set- an much rarer than either of the above named cards.

Now, I'd say the Graziano and the Doyle error card are equally the two rarest sportscards in the hobby.<br /><br />TED Z

Posted By: <b>Anthony</b><p>There are lots of cards that only 1 example is known of- all the Allegheny's, just to name one. But of all the "blue chip" rarities the '32 ('33 actually) Lindstrom gets my vote for the rarest, with Graziano second. Doyle is a variation (as is Magie) and I'd put it a bit further done the list, but since I have no chance of owning any of these (except the Lajoie) my opinion doesn't mean squat.<br /> Any way you look at it Graziano is very tough, hoping Adam will chime in with an estimate of known examples. I thought it was 5, but could be wrong.

If true, then this card is at the same level<br />of scarcity as the Joe Doyle error and the US Caramel Fred Lindstrom.....of which there are also less than 10 cards known.<br /><br />TED Z

I don't think we are likely to see one offered for sale in the reasonably near future as every one I know of is owned by a rich collector who ain't selling.

Posted By: <b>barrysloate</b><p>I feel fortunate to be one of the very few to handle a Lindstrom- I had it in my possession for several months until it sold. I can safely say I will never have another.<br /><br />I think the Graziano suffers from not being that well known.

Posted By: <b>Alan</b><p>One of the rare 1948 Leaf Rocky Graziano boxing card (PSA VG-EX 4) sold for $17,903 by Lelands in Dec 2001. I don't know who won it in that auction. <br />
