1958 Topps Football With Game Stamps?
 

Posted By: <b>petecld</b><p>Hello. <br /><br />I work for Heritage Auctions and I am looking for help with a consignment. I am trying to find out the source of a set of 1958 Topps Football cards. I have a complete set in really nice condition but they each have one of the following stamps on the reverse. I am told they were issued in vending machines. The stamps are all football related so I was thinking if there was a game of some type which include these cards or is it possible a particular store with these machines had a special promotion where customers "played football" by buying cards and won or lost based on the "play" of the stamp?<br /><br />These are the only six styles of stamp that appear Please see attachment. <br /><br /><img src="http://www.caramel-cards.com/ebay/58stampsv2.jpg"><br /><br /><br />Please post here or email me directly.
