Question regarding 1961 Fleer FB uncut sheet
Posted By: Scott Sarian
Hello,

I have an uncut sheet of 1961 Fleer football, with numbers 133-220 (132 cards, with 44 of them double-printed).

I've owned it probably for 15+ years and haven't seen any others, but someone recently mentioned they had seen a couple of others on the market recently.

Does anyone know of any recent sales of these? I can get a picture of it posted tomorrow if anyone would like as well.

Thanks!
Scott

Question regarding 1961 Fleer FB uncut sheet
Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
SCOTT

Is this the sheet that has Don Maynard's rookie card (double-printed) ?

If so I have a complete sheet of these cards. I've had it for 20 years.
A lot of these sheets were found back then. What they are worth now,
I do not know. I will try to find out....or perhaps, some one who knows
will chime in here.

TED Z

Question regarding 1961 Fleer FB uncut sheet
Posted By: John S
Uncut sheets, proof sheets, and strips of '60 and '61 Fleer seem to relatively common in the hobby (for a vintage football issue). I don't recall prices for recent sales. Regardless, you have a great collectible of almost a fifty year old issue.

Question regarding 1961 Fleer FB uncut sheet
Posted By: Scott Sarian
Thanks guys.

Ted, this is the sheet which has the Maynard double print. I actually found an identical sheet which Lelands sold in 2002 which sold for about $700, so that gives me a good ballpark figure.

Thanks,
Scott
