does anyone have a 1964 topps baseball 5 cent box they could take some pictures of for me?
Posted By: kg
i posted this on the memorabilia forum almost a week ago and didnt get any response, so i thought i'd try my luck over here!!

i recently bought one of these and received it last week--its gai graded, but i have a sneaking suspicion it might be fake--first off, it looks too deep compared to all my other 50's & 60's five cent boxes which are all pretty much the same size--second, a couple of the fonts dont look quite right and third, there is no printing (ie topps copyright and headquarters info, etc) on the bottom of it which i thought was the norm for all topps display boxes from this era. if someone has one and could take some pics of it from every angle (or at least a few) and post them on here, i would greatly appreciate it--thanks in advance!!

Posted By: Dave Hornish
The lack of copyright and address is very suspicious IMO.

Posted By: Anthony N.
David-
checked my box- like yours, the bottom is blank. The box is a bit deeper than others of the era.
I bought mine from Mark Macrae, so I feel very comfortable with the provenance.
I can understand your concerns because this particular year does look a bit different, but it's just the way they were.
