1960 Topps Tattoos and 1964 Tatoos
 

Posted By: <b>Al</b><p>I wonder why Topps called them Tattoos in 1960 and Tatoos in 1964. The deifferences caused me some problems in searches when I was building those sets. In fact when Topps vault listed some of the 1964 proof sheets, they incorrectly listed them as Tattoos. <br /><br /> When I was building the 1960 set I would ask sellers of unopened packs who the player or image was to see if i needed it and they would normally say they had no idea, even though those were likely the most easly searched packs in the world. But, anytime someone had a Mantle in the unopened pack they darn sure wanted you to know that right up front
