A purchase recommendation - slightly OT
Posted By: <b>Joe D.</b><p>I was going through some of my 80s stuff and I came across...<br /><br />"1986 Sportflics Decade Greats."<br /><br />So - I opened up the box and revisited the set....<br /><br />spectacular!<br /><br />Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Lefty Grove, Ted Williams, many others (even relatively new guys like Boggs, etc.)<br /><br />The 'vintage' photos are really nice b/w shots. And as you know, Sportflics are those lenticulars so the image changes as you tilt the card. You go from a portrait of Ruth to another photo of Ruth to another.....<br /><br />I very much enjoyed going through the set.<br /><br /><br />Anyway - I see them on eBay for like $10 - $15 for the set.<br /><br /><br />I highly recommend it. Treat yourself to a stocking stuffer.<br /><br />apologies if this is too off topic.
