Posted By: <b>Shawn Chambers</b><p>Hey guys, <br /><br />A buddy of mine just called me from the road. He found an envelope with a letter from Mickey Mantle's Holiday Inn at a flea market. It is just a typical letter from someone to someone else, but he thought I might like it because of the logo on the envelope. He didn't remember what year it was cancelled. <br /><br />Are these things easy to find? How much is too much to pay for something like this? He hasn't bought it yet, but will be passing through there again next week so I got time to answer.<br /><br />Best,<br /><br />Shawn

Most are common and sell in the $25 range, there are a couple variations that sell for about double. <br /><br />Some like to collect with mathches in-tact but the prefered way is without....just the cover.<br /><br />Fun and inexpensive way to collect Mantle items.<br /><br /><br />Kevin

The oversize Louis vs Schmelling (sp)fight w/ printed matches and some ultra rare Dempsey resturant real photo double covers ($100+ ea). I've only seen two in the last 7 years.
