Snow White window cards for sale (all gone!)
Posted By: <b>John S</b><p>I won five of these (identical) at a local auction near the theater where they were displayed in the the early 50's. Window cards are typically printed on cardboard, are 14" x 22", and were hung outside of the the theater and at various locations around town. These particular examples were used to advertise a 1952 re-release of the classic 1937 movie.<br /><br />I didn't realize until I posted one for sale on eBay that these types of collectibles have the same type of fanatical following as our pre-war cards. I have three for sale (one is framed in my daughter's room; the original reason that I bid on the group). All of the examples have some border wear/soiling on the right side that does not affect the images and can be covered by a mat/frame. $45 each if you are interested.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1206785197.JPG">
