Rare Spanish boxing cards of the 20's
Posted By: Cisco Fran
This is Francisco Garcia from Valencia, Spain. I'm an Old Cardboard magazine (the terrific publication!!) subscriber and I appeared on the Collector's Dogout section in 34 of that magazine. I have something somebody can be interested in
It's a lot of 13 Spanish boxing cards, 10 of them belong to a 21 card-collection named Boxe (Boxing in french, I guess) The collection shows images of boxing and in the back you can know about rules and ways to knock the rival. Some of these cards show a name of a famous boxer too. I have the following ones:
Boxe, Dragón Japonés de Evaristo Juncosa, 20's
# 5 Carpentier (2 copies) M- and EX condition
# 9 Ledoux (2 copies) M- condition
# 12 Punching Ball (2 copies) Poor condition
# 18 Cross M condition
# 21 Break away (3 copies) 2 M- and one Poor+ condition
The whole set will be 75 dollars.

The other three cards belong to the collection "Modos de Boxear" (Ways of boxing)published by Chocolates Amatller in the 20's too. These would be free for you.

All 13 cards have Spanish texts on front and back and are quite rare to see even in Spain. If someboday is interested in please write to kawligas@correo.cop.es
