Avery, one of the original New York Knickerbockers of 1845 and a participant in the first Baseball Game at the Elysian Fields in Hoboken NJ. Beautiful signature inside of an antique book from his home in NY and could be cross referenced with the ledger sold in the last REA auction for authenticity.
