housecleaning- lot of photographs, postcard, more
Posted By: <b>jamie</b><p>Trying to fund some other projects. Got a nice little lot of ephmera for sale:<br /><br />8x10 photograph of baseball team from an all black school (Excelsior). One of the players is holding a trophy. Dated 1943. Some real interesting details- I catch a little more every time I look at it.<br /><br />silver gelatin print of 4 ball players in uniform in front of a tent- postcard size. looks 19th century<br /><br />postcard from yankees spring training- postally used 1947. looks like gehrig on the front in subset picture<br /><br />letter from the national association of baseball leagues to a player declaring him inelegible- comes with original envelope<br /><br />two 5x7 photographs of the above player, along with a couple newspaper clippings, some negatives, and 2 index cards where this minor league player recalls some of his favorite moments as a player (playing in a game against buzz aldrin, etc.)<br /><br />ASKING $50 delivered for the lot.
