RARE William Dillhoefer Signed Check DIED 1922

He was one of the budding stars of the late teens who was once traded for Grover Cleveland Alexander, Served in Europe in World War One, was selected as a 1920 All-American, and died in 1922 as a result of a baseball injury. His autograph is VERY scarce and even some of the most advanced collections do not have a "Pickles" Dillhoefer autograph. Accompanying this autographed check I will send a photocopy of a letter from the Cardinals sent to Dillhoefer while he was dying in the hospital.
