1915 Baseball book by Hugh S Fullerton
 

Posted By: <b>Keith</b><p>I have for sale or trade a 1915 book entitled "Jimmy Kirkland and the Plot for a Pennant" and is authored by Hugh S Fullerton.<br />The book is dedicated to Charles Comiskey.<br /><br />The interesting thing about this book is that it is about a team cheating to win a pennant. This is ironic because Fullerton was a beat reporter for the Chicago Blacksox for many years, and was actually the person who found out about and broke the story of the 1919 BlackSox scandal. <br /><br />The book is in very good condition with tight bindings and no writing. There is no dusk jacket, but not sure if it ever came with one.<br /><br />Keith
