Posted By: <b>john/z28jd</b><p><br /><br /> <br />Played for the Yankees in 1912 and the Phillies and Braves in 1914.All i have is an autograph and a 1912 team photo that was from some guide.I would be interested in any photos from his playing or coaching days<br /><br />Besides playing for the miracle Braves team and the Yankees,hes famous for being the guy Walter Johnson hit in the jaw with a pitch and knocking him out,he missed 5 weeks.Johnson must not have liked him because it was the 2nd time he hit him in that game.<br /><br />Ive also read that he was Jim Thorpe's manager when he played with Milwaukee of the American Association in 1916 <br />
