MOVED TO EBAY - 1950-51 Toleteros Josh Gibson HOF RC (SGC 20)
Posted By: <b>Phil Garry</b><p>Good Evening, Collectors:<br /><br />I have decided to put the "Holy Grail" of my Baseball Hall of Fame Rookie Card Collection up for sale tonight. This beauty has been graded an SGC 20 by the strict graders at Sportscard Guaranty Company, the industry leader in third-party grading. As you can see from the enlarged scans, the front of the card would likely grade an SGC 70-80 with the blank-back responsible for downgrading the overall grade due to a pencil mark and a couple of small spots of paper loss. <br /><br />This is a very rare opportunity to purchase an extremely rare, upper-tier, Negro League Hall of Famer from a truly scarce Puerto Rican League issue. I don't think one of these has ever been offered for sale on the Network 54 BST as they usually only come up for auction during the big auction house events where buyer premiums of 15%-20% are charged. My sale price on this beauty is $18,000 and the first person to e-mail me and state "I'll take it" will be the new owner upon my receipt of funds.
