SOLD - 1953 Marshall Merrell Hank Aaron HOF RC (VG-EX)
Posted By: <b>Phil Garry</b><p>Good Evening, Collectors:<br /><br />Up for sale tonight is a VERY SCARCE 1953 Marshall Merrell Braves - Hank Aaron ROOKIE CARD. This card issue pre-dates Aaron's widely accepted 1954 Topps Rookie Card by one year and represents the earliest possible issue of the "All-Time Home Run King". This beauty is in VG-EX condition with minor corner wear, a perfectly clean front and blank back except for "Henry Aaron" written in pencil on the top-back of the card. This issue was produced for the Milwaukee Braves in 1953 and includes all team members from that season. When have you seen another one of these?
