FOR SALE: 1928 Exhibits PCL (Extremely Tough cards)

Posted By: Rhett Yeakley
I am going to keep a few of these but don't really need all 12 at this point, so I will make them available here. If there is interest in a few of them I might just keep the rest in my personal collection.

These cards are extremely tough to find and there appear to be a pretty wide range of conditions for those just looking for a type from the set. Prices are somewhat negotiable and please keep in mind that I do not yet have these in hand and the prices that are listed are based only on the scans provided. That being said I will not likely raise any prices but some may go down if there is unseen problems such as any back damage, etc.

Extremely rare opportunity to pick and choose from a set that is undoubtedly the toughest of all Exhibit sets (even tougher than those pesky 1923-24's). Please note that these cards came with a coupon on back and are often found with the bottom right corner clipped to remove that coupon.

Earl Averill (Seals) -Not currently for sale
"Ping" Bodie (Mission) -top corners clipped, popular player $100 Sale Pending
Carl Dittmar (L.A.) -p/h AWESOME HORIZONTAL POSE $225
Truck Hannah (L.A.) -bottom card in stack of 3, appears clean $200 Sale Pending
Smead Jolley (Seals) -p/h & wear, VERY popular PCL player $150 Sale Pending
Bobby "Ducky" Jones (Seals) -clean, probably nicest condition in the lot $250 Sale Pending
Ray Keating (Sacramento) -appears clean $225
Walter "Duster" Mails (Seals) -corner clipped/coupon removed $85 Sale Pending
Hal Rhyne (Seals) -corner clipped/coupon removed $90
Earl Sheely (Sacramento) -appears clean, popular player $200 Sale Pending
Hollis Thurston (Seals) -appears clean $225 Sale Pending
Earl "Tex" Weathersby (L.A.) -p/h, middle of stack of 3 $120

email directly to: rhettyeakley@netzero.com if interested.
-Rhett

Scan 1:
Hannah/ Weathersby/ Averill

Scan 2:
Sheely/ Rhyne/ Mails/ Keating
Bodie/ Jolley/ Jones/ Thurston

Scan 3:
Dittmar
