Honus Wagner 1948(?) Pittsburgh Provision & Packing Co.
Posted By: <b>Brad W,</b><p>Very rare card of HOF Honus Wagner, printed as a promotional card for Wagner to hand out during promotional appearances. According to the Standard Catalog, the year of this card is unknown, but best guess is 1946-1948 period. Card is printed in green ink on white stock. Actual size is 3 7/8" x 2 1/4". This card was recently discovered in a box of papers belonging to my father-in-law's grandfather, who lived in Pittsburgh his whole life and was a die-hard Pirates fan. <br /><br />Card is in excellent condition for its age. No tears, some very tiny surface wrinkles. Top left corner has small wrinkle. But overall this is in exceptional condition.
