Then again, there's a canyon, a bridge, a dam, etc. named Capilano so it could be the source of the name as well.<br /><br />--Chad<br /><br />(edited to try to get my facts closer to reality)

Aside from the band, Capilano River is on the North Shore, and essentially divides the cities of West Vancouver and North Vancouver.<br /><br />The Vancouver Capilanos played in the Western International League, and these cards were from the early 50s.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.gvrd.bc.ca/parks/gifs/Capilano-River_photo2.gif"><br /><br />Max<br />
