1923 w515 complete set nice condition with an extra #3 ruth
Posted By: <b>andy becker</b><p>hi folks,<br /><br />1923 w515 complete set nice condition. i have scanned some keys and some commons for a peak at general condition. this is a very nice and presentable w set that is a couple nice ruths away from really being nice. <br />there is also an EXTRA #3 babe ruth. <br /><br />here's the condition break down (also, this was an rea purchase....this is rea's grading....which i feel is accurate):<br />keys: #3 ruth (both fair), #4 bancroft (ex-mt), #8 hoyt (ex-mt), #10 cobb (vg-ex), #11 sisler (vg-ex), #14 firsch (tiny tear at bottom border, otherwise ex), #15 baker (tiny touch of paperloss on front, otherwise ex), #16 grimes (vg-ex), #24 stengal (miscut on bottom border, otherwise ex), #28 speaker (vg-ex), #29 youngs (ex), #32 kelley (vg), #34 jennings (cut small left to right, otherwise vg), #36 huggins (vg-ex/ex), #38 johnson (vg-ex/ex), #45 mcgraw (vg), #47 ruth (fr), #49 alexander (Ex to ex-mt), #50 maranville (vg), #51 schalk (vg), #55 hornsby (tear at the top border, otherwise ex), #56 wheat (ex), #58 collins (vg), #60 faber (vg). the balance of the set ranges from vg-ex to ex-mt, averaging ex overall. <br /><br />of the 60 cards, 54 (55 with the extra ruth) are w515-1. <br />6 are w515-2; #'s 17, 19, 37, 40, 45 (mcgraw), and 57. <br /><br /><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1158540974.JPG"> <br /><br />$950 delivered and insured. as always, first come first served.<br />thanks for looking.
