Brickbats notwithstanding,

Posted By: David Vargha
I know I already ranted about seller "issues" on the main board, but this kind of situation is inexcusable. There is either a complete lack of integrity on the part of the seller here or else he is completely incompetent. Either way, decent Net 54 members need to be protected from this in the future.

I actually contacted Jay a few hours after his initial post asking him if he wanted to flip the card for a profit. He indicated that he hadn't heard back yet from the seller. To be at the FOUR DAY mark with no response is ridiculous. Did the seller get a better offer and then decide to sell it elsewhere? If so, that is extremely unethical and should not be tolerated. Is the seller completely incapable of responding in a timely matter? Unless he has had an extreme family emergency (that came up within 2 hours after the listing posted and still is requiring his attention) or is completely incapacitated or dead, then this kind of poor customer service has no place on this board IMO.

Leon -- Not that my opinion carries any wieght, but I think that this seller should be banned from posting on the B/S/T boards and a precedent set that such actions will not be tolerated from sellers in the future.

DavidVargha@hotmail.com

Posted By: zach
He has many items on ebay, so its obvious he has been active on his PC in the past few days.

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwildman-peteQQhtZ-1

I'm assuming he got a larger offer and realized he may have priced the card low which if in fact this was the case this is his fault and Jay should have still be rewarded with being able to purchase the item.

Edited one more time to state that Jay wanted to buy this card and responded on the 20th the seller completely ignored his own thread and then made a new post in a different section on the 22th giving everyone a heads up on his ebay autions. This can be seen through this link-

http://www.network54.com/Forum/376261/message/1137958263/Slabheads+FYI

Brickbats notwithstanding,

Posted By: leon
I have just emailed this seller/poster. I told him he needs to email me AND explain what has happened here. If it got sold, traded, lost, whatever....he needs to say something. I also told him if he doesn't email me AND explain on here then he will not be allowed to post in this area anymore....so let's give him a day or two to respond. I can always reverse the banning if something bad has happened....regards all

Brickbats notwithstanding,

Posted By: leon
David and Jay,

I just got an email from Pete. After analyzing his first post here, and the times it was edited, I do agree it took way too long to get back to the folks on this thread......I don't think it's a good practice to wait 5 days to respond to folks on the board, after you post something for sale. I don't think it's something I would ban someone for, especially if this is the only time I hear about this kind of issue, but would think it would not bode well with future buyers........Please keep me informed folks.... regards....

Posted By: Darrell
Jay -- assuming you finally got this cleared up .. I did not rec'v any notficiation or make any other offer to or from seller so I am assuming he has finally (from Leons email) contacted you on this and you are square.. I clearly put my name in behind your request and asked if he had additional num num's -- New here to the posts and just wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding regarding my post- TKS DFLETCH00

Posted By: jay wolt
DARRELL - No problem with you at all!
Someone apparently contacted the seller before me and claimed it, and thats cool!
It just would have been nice if the seller stated that to me via an Email or on the post, and if that deal fell through I would get a chance at it. Leon's post explained the situation and thats fine, I was irked moreso of the lack of communication & courtesy then not receiving the Num Num. I am a schedule collector and would have liked to add it to my collection...jay
