First thing I look at to narrow down dates is look at players. Every team changes lineups due to injuries call ups etc. So look at lineups and see how they match up to lineups on Baseball referance for Brookly home games vs Phila. Might not get you to 3xact game but will normally narrow down to a series or 2.

Scored cards are generally preferred. Just as dated tickets are preferred.

I have 22 different scored home games through Aug 18 and the ad still mentions May 13. I do not have the games from Aug 19 thru 24, but I have 5 games starting Aug 25 and the ad in those does not mention the date.

So, based on that info potential dates are :

April 22-23-24
May 23-24-25
Aug 8-9-10


Is that "Poland" listed in the middle column of the roster above the scoresheet?

If so, because he was purchased from Indy on May 17, and traded to the Reds on June 14, we are left with the May 23-24-25 date range.


Jackie was 4-10 with a HR as the Dodgers won 2 of those 3 games. Here is the game they lost on May 24th with going hit less and making an error :

It originally helped to narrow the search that I have more scored programs than anybody really needs... but ultimately the key piece of evidence aiming at the answer was Poland.
