That is funny on so many levels!! :D:D:D

There are so many things wrong here, it's hard to even process them.

frankbmd 08-30-2015 08:39 AM

The seller uses that title for all his listings. I don't have a problem with that.;)

"Rare card I've never seen it"

At least his description is actually quite accurate :)

brianp-beme 08-30-2015 01:37 PM

Incomplete grade at best

In the future the seller should at least follow through and make sure the entire word 'reprint' is removed from the back bottom. This is something taught on the first day of my Rip-off 101 class.

I love it that he didn't even try and hide the "reprint" at the bottom on the back

Joshchisox08 08-30-2015 03:08 PM

It's even graded too !!!! I didn't know PSA took it to the next level and invented invisible slabs !!!!

I just gave that young man a talking to.

I've never seen it either !!! :D

In his listing, the seller says "Original." I guess he means that this card is an original reprint.

Eric72 08-30-2015 03:41 PM

Come on, fellas. You're just not being broad minded about this. The card is an ultra-rare, "Red Pint" version.

A full pint of red ink was used to print that Polar Bear back. To commemorate the event, and the potential capital gain an owner could realize (they probably knew PT Barnum personally) the printers clearly noted this on the back.

They also made sure to spell the player's name wrong, further enhancing the value.

Is that starting bid of 500 US dollars or Venezuelan bolívars?

Enfuego 08-31-2015 05:46 AM

Just a hot mess IMO.
