Real or Fake?
Saw this ebay listing with a few off backs and it looked tasty. But they have to be fakes right?

What makes you suspect they're fake? |
Looks legit to me.

Just because they are raw PreWW2 cards doesn't necessarily make them suspect. Of course we are dealing with an Ebay listing, but these cards all seem fine.

FWIW, the cards look fine, even with the pics provided. Still, never be afraid to ask questions. Any seller worth their salt will make time to send you an answer. |
fine

Thanks for the input everyone, and thanks for the welcome! I've been a lurker for a few months but hoping to get more involved.

Good Luck Goff.......look good to me

Those are definitely real.
And congrats on having the nerve to ask... |

Looks dandy

They're real. And they're spectacular.

They look real, but look at seller feedback.

They're real.
On a side note, this listing was under "Similar Items" at the bottom of the page. $202 (with still over a day left) for a "Master Preproduction" Wagner limited to only 100 made. :D https://www.ebay.com/itm/325139765476 I'm in the wrong business. |
His lone negative: "The set is short cards 49,163,180,395"
1983 Topps Baseball Complete Set (1-792) Boggs/Gwynn/Sandberg Rookie Cards Seller's reply: Obviously I did not realize this and you did not reach out to me to allow me to make this right. My comment: The T206's are either the best reprints and aging ever or they're original. I would buy from this seller unquestionably. His negative appears to be an honest mistake - of which I've made many. |

I also know how many sellers are held hostage by bad buyers threatening negative feedback if they do not submit to extortion for money or held over a barrel by empty box return scams. I refuse to let those people be bullied by people wasting good air. |
