I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the history of this stamp. I was speaking with a friend who seems to have memory of seeing this stamp on other vintage cards. He mentioned that it was always the same size and color. I was wondering if the card came from a certain collection, and if the person who marked their cards with this rather curious figure was known in the hobby for doing so. I'm sure most of you noticed this in Lew Lipset's last auction, and yes it is the same card. Any information would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance. Scott
