Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>The cards have a completely different design than the Sports Co. cards that were actually issued. And there is a much greater emphasis on non-baseball cards. It looks like a very significant and interesting find.

Posted By: <b>Matt</b><p>From the September '74 TTS:<br />"John Parks reports picking up a heretofore unknown issue a few months ago. He and another collector purchased them from a local antique dealer whose daughter lives in San Francisco. She found them at a garage sale and gave them to her dad. Originally in a single sheet of about 400, he cut them into single cards. They depict champions in many different areas with about 70-80 on baseball and 20-30 on football. The rest are boxing, track, auto racing, chess, etc. The only identification is on the back: Sports Co. of America S.F. They were copyrighted in 1926 and come in both blank back and info back varieties."
