Hey guys....just wanted to say hi. Been collecting on and off since the mid 80s boom. The hobby has pulled me back in. Lurked on here through the years, figured I'd join. Don't really have a certain fave to collect yet, but I find the older cards more enjoyable. I'll probably dip my toes in a few sets/eras/etc before settling in. I have lots of other hobbies (guitar, bikes, woodworking, pinball, etc). I'm just a collector at heart.

Welcome!

Welcome aboard...since you are from Louisiana you might consider some vintage cards that were issued in that state. One of our board members created a great website about them:

The 1914 T213-2 cards are the ones most readily available, and they share the same fronts as seen in the T206 set. In any event, enjoy another collecting avenue!

Welcome

If you are interested in Louisiana issues, you can do a search, and many threads will pop up. There are several Louisiana collectors on this site and some of the members have amazing knowledge of these issues and they have amazing collections.

Welcome!!

Feel free to steer clear of those Louisiana cards. :D

Welcome!

For us northerners, tell me, is it "Louise-ee-anna" or "Loo-zee-anna" or something else?

Jamie_h 06-04-2020 06:59 PM

Thanks guys. I doubt my pockets can afford those Louisiana cards.

Jolly, you USUALLY hear "Loo-zee-anna"
