Ebay Auth guarantee- buying 'raw' card

I did not see this covered. Correct me if wrong.
I looked at the Ebay guarantee policy stating:
That 'raw' cards would be sent to CGC.
OK...has anyone done this????

How does that work?...they look at it and send it back in a card saver or something with a tamper proof sticker.. Thats what i am thinking.
It says they dont grade any cards, thats it not part of the ebay guarantee.

I recently bought a PSA graded card, sent to PSA and went fine.
I also sent a SGC card to PSA, and went fine.
As Ebay guarantee states that graded cards are sent to PSA.

Ebay gurantee as stated:
It’s authenticated
The seller ships your card to the authentication facility, where ungraded cards are inspected by CGC Cards™, and graded cards have their case and label authenticated by a PSA authenticator. No regrading is performed.

Yes it works exactly like with a graded card if you are the buyer or seller. It just stops at a different location between the seller and buyer.

^^Got that point.
I was mainly concerned how does the 'raw' card arrive to the buyer?
Guessing it comes back in that blue cardboard holder, in a plastic sleeve with a tamper proof sticker.

Yes. Although the sticker is not tamper proof at all.

Well, some of us are better tamperers than others.

The stickers frequently just pull right off and leave no trace behind if you just open the baggie normally. It's hard not to notice.
