It has probably been discussed before; however, I’m seeing this for the first time.
That’s Hank Aaron on this Brewers Team Card, isn’t it? |

Yep - that's Hank.
He spent 1976 - his final season - as the Brewers' DH. Topps traditionally used team-issued team photos for the following year's set - so, the image on this card is the 1976 Brewers team-issued team photo, the rest of the team photos in the 1977 set were the teams' 1976 photos, etc. The original is below: |
Look at how his teammates treated him like a beloved emperor. Although he isn't situated in the center of the photo, the players around him are all angled toward him. He's the center of their focus. That's some serious respect!

Hard not to see George Scott and that big shark-tooth (or whatever it is) necklace he had on his 77 card.
Sadly, just caught an article where his son apparently was involved in a murder/suicide involving the grandson. Glad George was not still around to have to witness this happening. |

Thanks, everyone. What you've written makes perfect sense. It's just surprising I've never heard anyone mention it before.

Definitely the fastest George Scott ever ran in a game.

HaHa, Dennis wasn't no dummy. :D |
What a wussy, first runs away, then hides behind his teammates. :D
