Picked up a pair of these chairs with a porcelain Piedmont advertising sign. I have never seen these before. Thought they would make a cool display piece. The description listed them as being from the 20’s.

They're great chairs and I've had several over the years. My Dad has a couple he keeps in his old c.1910 era brass cars and still actively uses them. They're a little wobbly, but still functional. That blue background color used in the porcelain sign was very commonly used in the early 1910's, so I think they date back to that era, as well. Enjoy them!

Great Piedmont chair and fan. Agreed, that Piedmont advertising pieces are fun to collect.

I’ve had a couple of these over the years too. I agree, they are cool display pieces, but yes a bit wobbly to sit on regularly. Nice pickup!

Those are so gorgeous! I love that they picture the packs.

I feel like these chairs get talked about here fairly often, so I’m surprised you hadn’t heard of them before. Last time I saw one for sale was about two years ago in an antique store, but it was pretty well destroyed for the exorbitant price they had it listed at. They are very cool display pieces, but are often found in rough shape.

Love it when you gents show your memorabilia displays. All those Peidmont pieces look great.
