Sent a 35 card order, received by SGC on 1-11-22. Graded on 1-28-22.

1/19 here, just hit post-grading processing.

$30 is for max value $1499 for SGC I like SGC for certain cards and PSA for others. Just pointing out that $30 may seem like a lot for certain cards but it's a bargain for others. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk |

Cards mailed on the 18th of Jan.
Received on the 21st of Jan. Graded and went to post grading processing today, 7 Feb. |
Has anyone been able to complete an order over the last week or so? I've been having an issue doing so and am attempting to determine what's going on.
UPDATE: I was able to get some clarity from SGC and help completing the order. It appears it was a PayPal issue. |
Cards are graded and shipped today. One nag, SGC did not annotate the 68 Topps Ed Brinkman as a yellow team letter as I requested on my initial form.
Cards received at SGC on 21 Jan and returned on 8 Feb. That is right around two weeks. Can’t beat that with a stick. |

Everybody's gotsta know when and if they popped? Ain't done nutting until they popped. Everybody knows that. Please tell us when they pop or if they will pop. I like it, just when they pop. I don't even care if they have my cards for a year and a half as long as they pop. Well did they? Pop that is. |

Like popcorn pop. Or some other pop pop? Not picking up what you are laying down man….. crazy talk. That is all I see. |

Few things reading through the posts:
1. Graders don't designate the labels, that's done by research team, and some things they don't find significant enough to designate and try to eliminate too many variations in labeling to help with the pop reports being more accurate. 2. Someone commented on my earlier post of me being a group submitter. You are correct it is 30.00 a card to send yourself, through us its 23.00 a card, so 7.00/card savings. I'll also mention that 30.00 is one of the cheapest rates out there for anyone being as even the "new companies" are charging more and take longer. 3. Our latest order took exactly 12 business days from the day it was received to the day it shipped out the door....pretty impressive when looking at what the other companies are doing. |

I have a 5 card sub at SGC now:
Received 1/27/22 Graded 2/11/22 Now in Post-Grading processing. |
I just sent a 2 card submission, after not using their service for about 2 years (used SGC exclusively for 17 years prior). Admittedly I switched to PSA and currently have 42 cards still there after a year, now I dont have an issue with that since they only go back into a box anyway. We will see how this SGC sub goes and maybe I will be back, but not sure based on how they just dont seem to want to compete (almost like they want to be the underdog), although their website is starting to show improvement and would still like to see a registry, albeit for me not for competition but more for self organization.

11 card order
Submitted 2/9 Received 2/14 Graded 2/25 (currently in post-grading processing) |
I know we all LOVE fast shipping so we all must LOVE fast grading too. Question is are they getting it right? I have seen a lot of recently graded material by SGC and from detailed scans and plenty in hand they seem to be crushing vintage over the last 6 months. I do not need or want fast and inexpensive grading if the results of such are cards in 5s/6s that should be lock 7s.

moving their existing registry is simply a matter of adding a link to their new website....
They have been promising a "New Improved" registry for years. Adding the existing registry link is better than nothing ATM |

Sounds like you've solved the puzzle then. This is great news! Perhaps you could email them with the link? |

Very happy and always satisfied with SGC and their grading. Peace, Mike PS For those who have been around long enough, SGC cards are typically always nicer looking than comps in other grading card holders. Bar none! Been buying the supposed SGC "dip" for years. Try to find SGC T206s now at reasonable prices! :) |

I agree that SGC has been the most consistent but not necessarily the toughest. I think for the most part they have always been more lenient on miscuts and writing. And I disagree that they always have nicer looking comps compared to other grading company's. I just got this Waddell back from PSA, I thought it would get a 4 possibly a 3.5. I just checked the last 3 recorded sales of an SGC 4 on card target and I think it's just as nice as one of the SGC 4's and nicer than the other two. SGC = blazing fast
Sent in a Koufax Rookie and Johnny Bench 2nd year ('69 All Star).
SGC received them on 3/25 I've already gotten the grades and they've been mailed. That's a turnaround of 2.5 weeks/13 business days from receiving to being graded/mailed. Insane. Also, both graded higher than I expected especially the Bench, which came back an 8!!!!!! |
